A ceramicist, artist and maker, Amanda works from her garden studio in Bedfordshire. Graduating from Brighton University with a BA (Hons) in Wood, Metal, Ceramics & Plastics, her practice now predominantly involves ceramics, glass, wood and drawing

With a natural affinity to making, Amanda predominantly works with clay, glass and wood to create functional and decorative ceramics, freestanding and wall hanging sculpture, and unique one-off pieces of jewellery.

A qualified teacher and Creative Practioner, Amanda delivers ceramics workshops from her garden studio teaching a mixture of hand building constructions, press moulding, slabbing and coiling, textured surface decoration and coloured slip application.
